I'm Josh Vasa, and I am running for City Council in District 3 because I believe in the power of community, service, and leadership. Growing up as the son of Indian immigrants in the Deep South, I learned the importance of creating and nurturing a strong community. My father's dedication to serving others and his unwavering integrity have shaped my values and continue to guide me every day.

Throughout my career, I have been a business leader, a community advocate, and a coalition builder. Whether managing a team of 50 at the McWane Science Center or uniting 700 volunteers at the Sidewalk Film Festival, I have always focused on inclusivity, collaboration, and making a tangible difference.

I’m running for City Council to engage with and inform our residents, to create stronger connections, to support safety and infrastructure, and to further beautify and uplift our cherished neighborhoods.
